The St. Vincent DePaul Society meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. Mrs. Cocuzza’s National Honor Society is interested in getting students involved with St. Vincent DePaul Society activities. The Society needs to maintain a fund that could be used to provide emergency financial assistance to those in need.  Next year's collection envelope boxes will include a monthly envelope for St. Vincent de Paul which could be used by those who wish to become regular contributors.

For the remainder of this year, anyone wishing to contribute could write checks payable to "St. Vincent de Paul - St. Joseph Parish" and drop them in the Sunday collection basket. If contributing cash, please place it in an envelope and write "St. Vincent de Paul" on it.  All of the money collected will go directly to assist the poor and needy.  Turnout for Sunday coffee and donuts was surprisingly good last Sunday in spite of the fact that it was canceled several times recently.  We will continue coffee and donuts throughout the Summer, as long as attendance remains good.
